This Privacy Policy explains how Applied General Agents ("AGA," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information in connection with someone@ (the "Service"), available at trysomeone.co and through our mobile applications.
someone@ gives you a personal team - your "Someones" - who handle parts of your life on your behalf, such as managing your calendar, handling email, arranging bookings, organizing your wardrobe, and helping you reach your goals. To do this work, your Someones process personal information about you, and sometimes about other people you interact with. This policy describes how that works.
Please read this policy together with our Terms of Service.
1. Who we are
The data controller responsible for your personal information is:
Applied General Agents
Email: blendingbytesdev@gmail.com
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, [appoint and insert EU/UK representative details if required].
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide to us
2.2 Information from accounts and services you connect
With your permission, your Someones access information needed to act for you, which may include:
We request these permissions individually and only access what is needed to perform the work you've asked for.
2.3 Information your Someones generate and collect while working for you
As your Someones carry out tasks, they create and process information such as: bookings and appointments they arrange, emails and messages they send and receive on your behalf, purchases or orders they place at your direction, notes and structured records about your contacts and relationships, and the history of work done for you. This information is associated with your account so your Someones can stay coordinated and act consistently over time.
2.4 Information about other people
When your Someone communicates or coordinates with other people on your behalf - for example, someone who emails your Someone, books time with you, or is added as a contact - we process limited personal information about those people (such as name, email address, phone number, and the content of their communications) so that the task can be completed. See Section 8 for how we handle this.
2.5 Information collected automatically
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your communications or the work your Someones do for you to serve third-party advertising.
4. Artificial intelligence and automated processing
The Service is powered by artificial intelligence. Your Someones use advanced AI models - including large language models and other machine-learning systems - to understand your requests, make decisions, and carry out work for you. Some of these models are operated by us, and some are operated by trusted third-party AI providers.
To deliver the Service, we share relevant personal information - which may include your messages, profile details, calendar and email content, contact information, and task context - with these AI providers so they can process it and return results. Our current AI sub-processors include providers such as Anthropic and [other AI providers you use], and any AI providers used for image or media generation. A current list of sub-processors is available at [trysomeone.co/subprocessors] or on request.
We require these providers, by contract, to process your information only to provide services to us and not to train their general models on your data except as permitted under our agreements with them. We obtain your explicit consent within the app before transmitting your personal information to third-party AI providers for the first time, and you can withdraw that consent by discontinuing use of the relevant features or your account.
Because the Service relies on automated systems, outputs and actions may sometimes be incomplete, inaccurate, or not what you intended. Important decisions are surfaced to you, and you remain responsible for reviewing the work your Someones do. See our Terms for more on the limits of automated outputs.
5. How we share information
We share personal information only as described here:
5.1 Service providers and sub-processors. We use trusted vendors to run the Service, including: cloud hosting and infrastructure (Microsoft Azure), AI model providers (see Section 4), email delivery and receipt infrastructure (Mailgun), payment processing (Stripe, Apple), web research and retrieval tools, and analytics and diagnostics providers. These parties process information on our behalf under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
5.2 To complete tasks you request. When your Someone acts for you - sending an email, making a booking, placing an order - it necessarily shares the information required to complete that task with the relevant recipient or third-party service (for example, a restaurant, a merchant, or a person you're scheduling with).
5.3 Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of you, us, or others, or to investigate fraud or security issues.
5.4 Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
5.5 Website cookies and analytics. Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where applicable, our cookie banner.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Information about people who are not users
When your Someone interacts with other people on your behalf, we process their personal information to carry out the task. We do this on the basis of our and our users' legitimate interest in operating a service that communicates and coordinates with others, and to perform the tasks our users request. We keep this information to the minimum needed, do not use it to build advertising profiles, and apply security boundaries that prevent one user's private information from being exposed to others. If you are a non-user and want to exercise rights over your information, contact us at blendingbytesdev@gmail.com.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and afterward only as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a commercially reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business records. Backups are purged on a rolling schedule.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
Account deletion. You can delete your account and associated personal information directly within the app at any time, or by emailing blendingbytesdev@gmail.com.
To exercise any right, contact blendingbytesdev@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9. European Economic Area and United Kingdom
If you are in the EEA or UK, we process your personal information under the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you've signed up for), consent (for example, transmitting data to third-party AI providers and for certain communications), legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Service and to coordinate with third parties on your behalf), and legal obligation.
You have the rights described in Section 8, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
International transfers. We may transfer your information to countries outside the EEA/UK, including the United States. Where we do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. United States state privacy rights
If you are a resident of California or another US state with a comprehensive privacy law, you have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and (where applicable) opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and certain profiling. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your rights, contact blendingbytesdev@gmail.com. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law.
11. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, schema separation between accounts, and security boundaries that isolate each user's private information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children
The Service is intended only for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact blendingbytesdev@gmail.com and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by other reasonable means, and update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
